I having a .260 built. I want to get a scope that I can learn how to adjust windage and elevation in mils and do actual long range shooting. This will be my first scope better than a leupold mark 2 or meanace (both are moa's). What are some features that I should look for, I dont want the scope to be advanced for a beginner (I will upgrade in the future if needed). What power would be apporiate, I want bigger than 3x is 5x power overkill. I would like a USO, NF, or Preimer. Can you help me out with reticles and models I am afraid of making the plunge blind. Some things to lookout for would be very helpful.

i would suggest the search function, but since the recent rash of newbs getting their feelings hurt heres what i have to say:
Power- 3-15 range
Features- mil reticle and mil knobs
Any of the 3 that you mentioned are good, my order would be this if i were doing it again
NF F1 or NXS 3.5-15 or 5.5-22 if you want more mag MLR reticle and Mil knobs
USO 3.2-17 with GAP Reticle and .1 Mil knobs or same config in the 3.8-22
Premier- 3-15 Gen 2 XR or 5-25 Gen 2 XR both with mil knobs
now depending on how long you want to wait would be a deciding factor. The USO built to your specs is gonna be about 4-6 months out. NF is gonna be to you the quickest, and Premier about the same, for the best deal on the Premier hit up Scott @ Liberty Optics on the hide
