New Annealeez owner and just ran 50 pcs of 6.5x47 Lapua. They have 4 firings so the necks are a little dirty.

One thing that seems weird to me is the coloring is uneven just below the shoulder. When the bottom wheel picks up the brass and starts to move it away from the flame, it comes out of the flame for a split second. As the wheel moves it around to dump it, it passes back through the flame and really darkens the color on one side. You can see cases 1 and 3 have more color on the side showing than cases 2 and 4. Should this concern me? Is there a way to adjust the flame to stop it?

RFutch, since you are ordering the Tempilaq 750, consider also getting some 400.
Use the 750 to investigate the minimum on the process, and the 400 up on the body shoulder to make sure you also have an idea of where the max of the process would be.

If that 400 hits the melting point but stays near the shoulder, you are okay, but if that 400 starts melting half way down the case body, you are probably also over doing it. Don’t worry, there is usually more than enough margin to keep things under control, but I recommend sacrificing some cases early in the learning curve just to help form a better experience base as soon as possible.
