Haven't touched one yet, but looks like a fantastic scope especially now that it has a mil/mil version. For $2800 I was disappointed in their 5-year non-transferrable warranty, but I'm hoping that will change over time.

For that price range I won't touch anything without a lifetime warranty. I tend to be a little hard on weapon systems.

SFP. Not sure how you could engineer a FFP scope with 10X magnification range and find a reticle that looks acceptable at both ends of the range.

I believe the 5-year limitation is Japansese law, so it's unlikely to change.

I don't have a lifetime warranty on my car or house so I'm not going to lose sleep over not having a lifetime warranty on an optic. I love my March scope. No problems at all so far.

I don't drag my house through mud and I don't submerge my car under water. I also don't subject them to thousands of impacts and explosions.
Moreover I can get a product from another manufacturer that excels in every category I require that does come with a lifetime warranty....so why would I consider one that does not?

Word is the FFP version will be out around the end of the yr , its available in moa or mils , just forget the Illum option as they want gold dust for that option .

Unless they are selling and shipping their scopes directly from Japan into here, Japanese law does not apply here - only US. In fact, most scope manufacturers (e.g. Euro) have a crappy warranty for their products in Europe and Asia, and a much better warranty for products sold in North America.
I would not buy a scope at that price w/o a great warranty either.
