Earning & keeping a Trident comes at a huge price to the team member and their family. Once again, these team members are programmed from day 1 to operate at 110% no matter what it takes, so admitting they are having a problem goes against their very being. While they are in the confines of the team, the team takes care of all. When they are on the outside, that all changes, and there can be severe consequences.

Agreed, that this sounds like a coverup. Men of this caliber don't throw their life away so easily, and both of them OD at the same time...? Heroin ODs usually takes years of use, and it's hard to hide recurring Heroin use.

Thats not necessarily true. Some of the main reasons people OD on heroin is 1. They are new to it, take too high of a dose. Not knowing what is a non-lethal dose. 2. In the case of addicts that stopped for a period of time, then fall back into it, end up trying to pick up where they left off, in which case, they no longer have that tolerance, and their body just can't handle the strain. Folks taking in for years are less likely to OD from the drug itself. Its usually a combination of the wear and tear it has on your body and eventually major organs start to fail.
