Reloading kicks A$$ !!!!

I seriously cannot believe I didn't start this a few years ago. Right away, my 1st batch of 80, 168gr BTHP Nosler Custom Comp. with 42 grains of IMR 4064 and 210 primers punched 10 rounds into a beer bottle bottom size shoot n see target. I'm am a born again shooter from here on out.

Doing it all on a Rock Chucker Supreme with RCBS Neck Sizer and puller, Redding Comp Mic Bullet Seater and a RCBS beam scale and trickler. I might be a little too cautious with throwing powder, but I trickle every round onto a beam scale. It was easily noticeable when I double charged with the 4064.

Oh yeah, and it's wicked relaxing to size and trim brass after a hard day of wrenching.

It's pretty cool to see those complete rounds filling the ammo box, isn't it? I got hooked just like you and that was 30+ years ago. And yes, it can be very therapeutic to sit around getting anal over a pile of cases.

glad your having fun!

I have several cardboard boxes full of brass that need to be prepped if you really need the relaxation. I wont even charge you!

Thousands?!?!?!?!?!?!? I thought I was crappin in tall cotton with 500 rounds. Guess I need to start picking more up off the ground at the range.

Hmm, I typed it right. Unless you're busting my balls. Then I'd proceed to tell you I'd starve to death if I had to make money with my body. Unless there was a club that catered to over weight fetish. Mayhaps "CHUNK N DALES" with big neon lights all around it.

Re: 200 rounds in and my thoughts........

I said earlier that I enjoyed fiddling with brass and that it was therapeutic. I should add that when you have several thousand pieces to process, the fun kinda dims at some point. A few years back, I scored more rounds of once-fired brass from a sniper training school than I care to discuss. I'm still wading through those boxes.

And if I could make a living wenching, my reloading tools might get a bit rusty. Oh wait, I'm fantasizing about the way things worked 40 years ago. Never mind.

LOL
Go to your happy place!
You have boxes full of brass, and this is good.
