Rifle Scopes 2008 NF Inspection

I went to a gun store, and they have a NF NXS 3.5x15x56 mil scope with the 1/4 moa turrets. The scope has the illuminated reticle.

The store is asking for $1550 for the scope. I noticed that the scope has a 08/2008 inspection sticker on it. They say that the scope is brand new.

Is this a fair price for the scope with all the new products that NF has come out with recently? I have seen this scope selling from 1300 to 1500 with mil rad and all the other new gizmos.
