Rifle Scopes 2011 Shot Show, what did Bushnell come out with?

Re: 2011 Shot Show, what did Bushnell come out with?

Excursion Spotting Scope: 15-45x60mm with H32 Reticle Horus Vision innovation embedded in a Bushnell Spotter. The Excursion is 1st Focal Plane with compact, folded path technology, and adjustments for focus and diopter.

Re: 2011 Shot Show, what did Bushnell come out with?

All I've heard and read from people in the know here is the glass coatings are being improved, new reticles which Pat M and Ajwcotton has mentioned and doubling the elevation and windage travel on the elite scopes. Not a huge fan of the horus reticle so hope they come out with more than that.

Can't really afford to put much more into a scope than $1000 so for myself its either the PST or the elite FFP. Just waiting to see the reviews for the new offerings and mostly level of glass between the two as both should be pretty tough scopes.

I've got the Busnell Excursion Spotting Scope: 15-45x60 with the standard FFP mildot & like it a lot (lots cheaper than the Leupold).

I wished it had the 1/2 mil lines , will have to see how much the new one will cost through Horus.

The scope with the Horus in it is a prototype and there are no plans to release it right now per the bushnell rep, we had to talk to 4 bushnell reps before we found one that knew what we were talking about, they are an informed group over there at bushnell

FWIW, I found:
3.5-21x50 FFP, .10 mil, 5 mils per rev, 34mm tube, Horus reticle, 30 mils total travel (L.E. only)

I really hope its not LE only.

Re: 2011 Shot Show, what did Bushnell come out with?

Thats an impressive adjustment range if thats true. And possibly finally bushnell is realizing the importance of total elevation adjustment!?

Id like to see the knobs get some work on making the clicks sharper, the 4200 FFP I saw had quite mushy clicks.

LE only??? I hope they don't pull that BS on the public! If they were smart they'd get it to market pronto, otherwise the Vortex PST's are going to run off with the market share. The PST just has better features.I think the main reason Bushnells' current FFP tactical sold well is because Vortex had to do the revamp and Bushnell was about the only game in town at that price point.

Or possibly this new scope is made to compete with the Razor.

I've used the scope & spotter & was really blown away. They'll be available to us eventually but are being introduced to the .mil folks first.
