210 Bergers

I just picked up some 210 Bergers for my 300wm. I thought that I read somewhere that they perform best seated into the lands is this true?

The VLD's do like to be seated into the lands but most folks have a hard time getting to the lands and still fitting in the magazine on a factory rifle.

For me I won't seat them into the lands because I can't afford to have an action full of powder in case I have to down load the rifle or go safe after chambering. They shoot just fine off the lands too (at least for me).

About .05" in my GAP chambered 06, they still fit in the magazine.
