I have put together some data (guestimated) for the 210gr. Berger VLD and H-1000 and RL-22 but the more google online the more different data I find people are using. I know everyones is going to be different (also depends on the brass used).

I am trying to find a good start and max data for the 210gr. Berger VLD and H-1000 + RL-22. I figured I would ask you guys because some of the best shooters are on the Hide.

I am using a 26" Bartlein bbl (1-10 Twist) w/ Winchester Brass.
.332" Redding Bushing (Redding Type "S" Bushing Die w/ Redding Competition Seater Die)

This is what I come up for Maximum:
H-1000 - 78.0gr.
RL-22 - 72.4gr.

Please post what you used for your start and max data for this combo out of a .300WM.

Thanks

Re: 210gr. Berger VLD and .300WM Data

You've already got another post going with this data. The info you already have is a great stating point. There is no set answer in black and white. It is a trial and error for what powder combinations will shoot well or poor for certain rifles.

for what its worth, I'm shooting .4" at 100yds with 71.7 of H1000 out of my Remington 700 1:10, with 208 Amax, and Hornady brass. I was getting a sticky bolt and loose fillings around 74.5g, and worse groups. Not sure if I need more Vagisil, but 78g seems like a lot to me.
