I just discoverd thease things and google has kinda limited info.

Im wondering how accurate they are? Can you expect match grade accuracy out of a properly installed one?

anyone install a liner that would care to post a target photo?

Re: .22 barrel liner

What are you wanting to install it in?

Seems as if these are primarily used to restore rifles that otherwise could not be rebarreled or in situations where reeplacing the barrel could depreciate the collector value.

I just cant grasp how to install one using equipment other than a lathe and still maintain any sort of precision. If one already has a lathe then one has the correct tool to rebarrel so aside from saving some sort of collectors value I can fathom the point of lining a barrel vs replacing.

Perhaps there would be an application where one is making an aluminum or carbon fiber wrapped barrel and in that application I could see a point.
