243 ai fireforming help

I asume that the 1st fireforming load for the 243ai should be loaded to reg 243 specs and not 243 ai specs. Then after the the 1st firing I will load to 243 ai data.

Most will say to run a 243 max load to blow out the case properly.

Todd,
I haven't loaded before but from my understanding. You load a hotter standard 243 load and form the brass that way. Then load to AI specs after that.

If you are going to use a 243 load you will want the bullet in the lands and use a max load. You want a nice tight load to fully blow the shoulder out.
