25 Creedmoor

I’ve noticed that quite a bit lately in terms of the amount of people using it. Planning to hit a few reloading stores this weekend to try to find a pound.
H4350 should have no problem running mid 2800s, N555 same, but with more case fill. Pretty sure H4350 had me close to 3000 at psi with 135s in a 28" barrel.

That’s money. I’m running a 23 inch barrel so curious to see what it will do once it has 100-200 round through it.
I removed the first 3 shots from the measurement, as they were cold & clean bore. But the rest of them were all factored in.

What elevation are you using?
Just bought 500 of the 133’s from Ryan Pierce and still have a 20” barrel and action so debating between a 25 creed and a 25 PRC. Hunting rifle
Dude, the easy button is .25CM using Alpha brass and a nice set of Redding Typse-S Elite bushing 6.5CM dies (P/N: 60446). Just order a set of Short Action Customs .281" bushings, and swap the 6.5mm seating stem out for a Redding .25 cal VLD seating stem, and you're done. Simple as that. Shoot that barrel over to the guys at Blue Mountain Precision in Utah, and let them spin it up, they did excellent work on mine.

4DOF and AB have the 133 EOLH. The 133 EOLH are the best bullet out there for .25 cal right now. Always one hole for me at 100 yards and spot on all the way out to 1400 yards.

Which solver are you using? I have three I think and none of them have the 25cal projectiles preloaded so I’m having to put all the specs in manually and it’s a pain in the ass lol
4DOF and AB have them. My kestrel and 4dof are very close. Both are custom drag curves. 4DOF axial form factor is at .98.

Better than the 6.5 140 elite hunter at 2,950?
Well, no, but that's not comparing apples to apples for my setups. From a 20" barrel my .25CM with 133's is averaging about 2800 FPS MV. And from a 20" barrel my 6.5CM is pushing 140's at about 2780 FPS MV. If you run those numbers with the same conditions (750' elevation), distances, etc... The .25CM beats the 6.5CM by a small margin.

What barrel twist are most people using? I was looking at a steel Sendero in 7.5twist, but seems it limits you to the 134eldm on stability factor. Looks like the 135 Berger and especially the 138 Atips are a little under. Thinking about this for NRL Hunter.

My brother and I have run 2 barrels each with a 7.5 exclusively shooting 135 Bergers. No problems at any temp or speeds ranging from 2800-2900fps

Thanks, just curious at elevation or sea level? I’ve got a few carbons but think I’m going to pull the trigger on a 7.5tw Sendero steel barrel and chop it down to 24”.

7.5" twist 20" Proof CF blank. I get right at 2800 FPS MV from Berger 133's with Alpha SRP brass, StaBall 6.5, and CCI 400's @ less than 600' ASL in almost all temps year round. 👍🏼

"I am delivert !!! I said I don't like mens no mo'!"

He may say that he likes women, but that outfit and bowtie says he still sucks dick.

The first time I saw that video, I swore it had to be an unreleased Key & Peele skit... 🤣

Holy shit! Truth stranger than fiction! That dude had to be sucking dick 10min after the TV cameras shut down lol

I have been thinking of doing a 25CM for hunting. What can I expect to get out of a 26”-28” barrel with the Berger 133s? I would more than likely want to use h4350. I have staball, but 90% of my reloading involves h4350, so it’s nice to keep it the same.
I shoot my 25x47 at 2700-2720 with Berger 135s and it is my best shooting rifle. I’ve had it up to 2830 with zero pressure. Can you get the 25CM close to 3000? If you can, I would want to try it and compare to my 6CM I hunt with currently at 3050 fps.

Inside 700Y you're only gaining .1 mil wind resistance, if that, for the 170fps difference so in this case the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Plus I like x47L more, lol, and your x47L dies, etc, are payed for.

If you went up to 25PRC with those bullets you'll get .2 mil or so improvement in the wind.

Then if you go for 25BMG....... JK.
