300 blk question

Wanting to build a 300 blk pistol with a piston system . Anybody build one and with what parts? I plan on using a side charger upper and cycling the subs manually but would like them to run semi also. I found a 10" barrel I can pick up in a trade but it has a carbine gas system. Will a piston system run semi both suppressed and unsuppressed with a carbine length system? Will it run super sonic loads unsuppressed?

Scott, the answer to all of the questions regarding the 10" bbl with piston system is probably No. I build one with a 9.5" bbl and an AA piston and had to make the gas port 0.147" to cycle.

0.147 gas port made it cycle subs,standard,suppressed ,non or all?With the AA piston

Adams Arms has a carbine gas system that can be ordered with a low mass carrier and a low pro gas adjustible block .My question is will a low mass carrier help a 300 blk cycle or hurt it when using a carbine length 10"barrel
