Join the contestWhats your barrel length?I’ve shot 8133 and N565 in my Norma Improved with 215 Berger’s. I hit harder pressure at 3150 with 8133 than I did with 565 at 3240. However, the nodes look good with 8133 and everything landed within an inch at 100. More testing to come.
I guess n565 and n570 still better?It’s a 26” Proof, built by Ryan Pierce. 93 grains was 3152. Max load on N565 was 3242 I think.
Yup i think i made comment there.(bjay gambeng)Heck Bjay, it doesn’t even seem to be reaching the mainland! I’m liking the case fill with 8133 and it’s availability. The velocity flat spot was only 40 fps slower than the lower flat spot with 565. I need to get some free time to shoot both to check groups and SD’s. I think both will work fine. I won’t chase 50-100 fps if I’m scared to shoot it because I can’t find powder!
I posted my findings on FB 300 Norma Mag Shooters under Nodnarb Trecked.

The widest variance on speed was 25 FPS, the rest fell right in there around the 5-7 FPS mark.
I ended up around 90 grains with 225's.I’m about to load some 8133 in my 300 NM. Curious to hear what charge people are ending up with using the 230’s? Yes I’d love to try RL-33 but I don’t have any, don’t know anyone that has any and it’s not in stock anywhere. Just looking for a good place to start my load work up
