How about the usual reloading data for the 300 PRC;

Brass manufacture
Charge weight and powder
Bullet make, weight and style (VLD, Hybrid, etc.)
Distance to lands
Overall length
Barrel length and twist
Muzzle velocity
any other data you feel is pertinent

Horn brass x6 fired
215 hybrid
79.3 h1k
Cci 200
.020 off
2960fps
Best load so far
I'm out of h1k, have a shit ton of rl26 and 225 eldm but can find no love with that combo.

I just shot through my first 50 ADG cases on my 300 PRC. I ran a ladder to try and match my velocities with fire-formed RWS 8x68S brass. I am going to be trying:

28" barrel @ 1-9
ADG Brass
73.4 gr RL 26
Berger 230s
BR-2 primers
.030 off
Expecting to average just under 2850 fps - that's where the two ladder rounds at this charge weight landed.

I need to order a few standard neck bushings, any recommendations? Going to start with some Hornady brass.

You might look at Whidden, i believe you can pick up their 30 cal bushing kit for $70 that includes sizes .333 to .337 or individual sizes at $16 ea. Of course there is shipping also.

Thanks, I ended up doing that.

These are the best results I've gotten so far ... looking forward to trying ADG brass

Just finished load development on another 300 PRC hunting rifle...9 lbs with scope
Specs
Bighorn SR3
24” Bartlein #4 carbon barrel
1:10 twist
Barrel work by Beanland
Beast 4 port ti brake, very effective

ADG brass
CCI250 primers
75.6 RL26 powder
215 hybrids at .030, 3.705 OAL +/-
2885 FPS...24” barrel
There is plenty of room for more speed but this gives me adequate velocity at 1,200 yards to open the bullet and it’s not too fast at short range. Should be perfect for my hunting scenario.

Forgot to mention, I’ve tested several pieces of Hornady and ADG brass for internal volume with water
ADG...95.5
Hornady 95.7

In theory the same load should work in either.

Thanks, I was just about to post that question. The Hornady brass has actually held up pretty well thru 6X

Anybody used lead free Nosler or Hornady 180gr bullets with Retumbo? I’m working up some loads for hunting in CA.
