300 RUM Barrel Lenght

My 300 RUM with a 26"barrel can push 240 SMK 2975 how much can be gained by going to a 30" or even 32" barrel .What length is too long?

28-30" is optimal i think, i like running them in a 28" but a 30" wouldnt hurt. depends on what your doing with it. 1-10 twist work great with all bullets from 180 accubonds too the 230 bergers at 3092 fps, or 215 bergers at 3292fps there a great round and have some impressive numbers down range.
