My 300wsm go to load is 165g SMK 62.5g IMR 4350 out of 24" 1-11 Kreiger, 1/4" groups [MENTION=89035]300[/MENTION]yds

i also developed an elk load: 180g Accubonds 63.4g IMR 4350 - 1/2 groups @ 300yds

165s shoot better out of my gun.

If you reload I would conduct a ladder test and find your sweet spot

I shoot both the 168 and 190 VLD over 4831SC. I have not shot the 185 yet. I load 70 grains with the 168 and 65 grains with the 190. This is a custom chamber in a Krieger barrel, so your rifle may like something else. I show no pressure signs and cases last about as long as I would expect them to. I use the Federal 210M primer. my QL is saying 69 is max, I think im going to load up 65-68 in .5 gr increments.

1/4" at 300 yards? not 100?

Rifle is a GAP non-typical
