I use H1000 for my Lapua and IMR 4064 for my .308. I am not sure if either of those powders burn rate will work in my short mag.

But, just working up hunting loads myself so perhaps what I have so far will be helpful: H-S Precision 2000 SPL Win brass Fed 215 Nosler Accubond 180 RL22 67gr - 2855fps RL22 68gr - 2899 RL22 69gr - 2936 RL17 66gr - 3115fps (this was most accurate load so far 3/4@100) RL17 67gr - 3149 Back to the range today with more loads . . .
