It is time to rebarrel my Savage 111. At the moment it still has a .473 bolt face head. I can order a .532 head for around $55. My measured mag length is about 3.39" absolute max.
I am thinking about a 300 win mag. I would like to shoot the 210gr bullets. My question is, will the 210's be seated too deep into the case? I know they will be seated past the neck/shoulder junction, which is a pita.
