Hi Guys,

It's probably been asked before, but I'm on a tight timescale, so I figure I'll ask again...

Anybody got a good handle on seating depth for the above mentioned combo?

Using Federal GMM LR Magnum primers
Vhit N560
WW cases
And the 190smk.

Gun shoots good with 210 Berger VLD's moly coated, but 190 SMK's is what I've got.

What sort of distance off/into the lands seems to work best for the 190 SMK in this cartridge.

Thanks for the help.

Neil

Re: 300WM/Sierra 190mk question

I had a Remington factory barrel that even as far as I could stretch the 190gr bullets out, they were still jumping +.250". The rifle still shot under .5 MOA when I had the powder charge worked out.

The jump worried me so I had the barrel set back, it never did shoot that good again.

Since then, through a couple of other barrels, the 190's have liked to jump .040 or more.
