300WM twist rate?

Hi,

I am new to all of this but have decided to go ahead and have a rifle built but I have a quick question.
The build is a 300WM and it will be mostly hunting use. If I go back to AK bear hunting, I will shoot 200gr but 90% of the time it will be deer hunting with 185gr max, maybe lighter. What twist rate would be best?

my bartlein 1/11 stabilizes 220 SMKs just perfectly fine

I've got a 1/12 Schneider that is doing just fine with 220 SMKs as well.

I'd run a 1-11" twist.

I have a 1-10" twist .300 Win Mag that APA built me for hunting. The 1-10" twist is a little fast for shooting my 180 grain hunting ammo.

I ordered the 1:10 kreiger yesterday. Hopefully it will all work out well but I will not know for another 5 MONTHS!!!

The 10 tist will work just fine. It's all I have used in my 300WM barrels and now what I use on my .308 barrels after having problems stabilizing some bullets with a 12 twist. You will have no trouble stabilizing any weight with the 10 twist in a 300WM.
