3031 vs 4064 for 308 gas gun?

4064 unless shooting less than 150gr bullets.

I’ve never tried 3031 in 308, always was under the impression it was kinda hot for a mid weight 308 bullet. 4064 has always been a good shooter for me

4064. Definitely the classic powder for .308.

both are used to duplicate mil spec loads in the m1a and garand, I havent used any 3031 but I do use 4064. I agree with the above posts use 3031 for 150 and below use 4064 for 150 and above
