.308 caliber magnum options

I have a 300 win mag R700 and plan to have the action blueprinted. I have a Bartlein HV barrel, APA muzzle brake, Wyatt's DBM for it when the action is being worked on. This lets me potentially change from the 300WM to another .308 caliber Magnum (magnum, cuz the bolt has a magnum face). Is there a chamber that would have less recoil, keep energy near the Win Mag at long ranges (>1000yds), and be generally considered as more accurate?

Or based on experience you can go to .300 H&H (Super .30), take the handicap, and beat half the other magnum shooters on the line. Less recoil, extracts like butter, and not a barrel burner. If you're not a reloader than forget that one entirely.

Thanks culpeper, that was definitely one that I had not looked at. I'm a reloader so that's not a deal breaker. I've looked at the 300wsm and 300rsaum but simply don't have any experience with them, how do they compare with recoil/accuracy/distance?
