Looking to see what reamer the smiths on here are using for a good GMM/BH chamber. I would like to have a reamer that is a good choice for factory ammo as well as reloads.
Thanks guys, I tried talking to Dave. They seem to be a little busy at the moment. I had found in some previous posts talk about the bisley reamer. I guess you could say I'm looking for the goto reamer for the factory ammo as my customers aren't into reloading yet.
Rthur,
I got the 308 Bisley on advise from Dave at PTG. He also reccommended the sprial flute version. Thumbs up on both...I'd never used a spiral flute chamber reamer before. It cuts with so much less resistance it's hard to believe. The rifles shoot well also.
Rthur, I am never too busy for a question. Call me at 541-826-5808 or you can always get me on my cell . Its 541-660 5724. The custom shop email is [email protected] Thank you Dave
I have the Bisley reamer on order from PTG. I changed the neck clearance to 0.339 to give me 0.003 clearance using Lapua brass. Will let you know how it works when it gets in. krw
