So I just bought a saint victor to add to the collection. I didnt really have a purpose for buying it othen then I wanted an ar10 in the collection. So this is the question I have, what is the ideal optic for this rifle? Like I said it doesnt have a purpose other then having some fun. I do have a range I shoot at that goes from 100-600yrds. I was thinking something in the 3-9 or 4-12 range. I would like to stay under 1k if possible any help is greatly appreciated

Nightforce or Geiselle one piece mounts are rock solid. I've also had zero issues with my ADM DELTA quick detach mounts. They were built for the SCAR series of rifles, known to beat up optics and their mounts, and it hasn't failed me. But, if you don't plan on moving the optic on and off for transport or optic swap I'd stick with the one piece mount and eliminate any chance of that becoming an issue.

I believe he’s referring to the ADM Delta Mount. I have one on my SCAR and I have no real complaints. It doesn’t seem to be up to the level of some of the other mounts I have. ADM is my go to for QD mounts but I don’t personally use QD for my precision rifles.

I also have, and can recommend, 1-piece mounts from the following companies:

Seekins
Geissele
JP
Spuhr
RRS
ZRO Delta

I have this Bushnell AR Drop Zone BDC 308, the previous version and testing with it on my 24" Savage 11VT puts the drops exactly on target from 100yd to 300yd using IMI 168gr Semi-Auto Match. Aim Points of the reticle reach as far as 500yd, and the thick/thin junction of the lower reticle wire is the aim point for 600yd.

I see there's some confusion on the Amazon site whether this is a scope for 223 or 308, but the reviews seem to say 308.

I have this scope, and the 223 version on my 11vt 223 and 308, and it's the best choice I've tried to date. From the bipod/bench, I can hit steel at 100yd, 220yd, and 300yd in somewhere between 1/2 and one minute with each rifle

Its awesome, shoots great, 0 issues with rifle or scope. Actually shot yesterday and had a great time. Only stretched it out to 300yrds so far. Maybe 300rds or so, steel,m80 ball, so far no problems.
