Range Report 308 Win, 208 AMax, RL17

Confirmed the 208 ELD-M does stabilize @ 100 in my 24" Rem 5R. As far as pressure, I can see slight cratering beginning at 46.5 gr RL17, and heavier bolt lift at 47.5 gr, light swipe at 48.5 gr where I stopped - only tried 1 round every half grain. Going out to longer range tomorrow - will load some more up and see if they are still stable farther out.

What elevation are you at?

^Basically sea level - CA SF Bay area
Interesting. So if my numbers are correct that puts you at a stability factor of about 1.2. Let us know how you do at longer range.

1st load test with the 208's - started just below pressure and moved down from there. Not liking it as much as my 178 load so far. Attached both for reference. Any suggestions - maybe try different powder, or perhaps the 208 is just too much for my 11.25" twist?
