338 Cheytac loading data

Are you going Cheytac or snipetac? I've never heard of just 338 cheytac.
I had a snipetac, ran 142gr of VV 20N29, 215M primer, 300gr Berger at 3220 fps. 50 BMG was ok, I think around 136-140gr's, but the slower powder shined.
US869 sucked the big one, not enough volume of powder in the case, causing hangfires, scary shit right there.

If your budget will allow, the Rocky Mountain 275 was awesome, at 3350 with 145gr of VV.

Going with 338 Cheytac. I can`t see the need for anymore powder (Snipetac) plus by the time you waste powder, primers, and bullets for just fireforming to make the Snipetac.

Wow, Like I said, never heard of anyone doing that.
When I fireformed my brass, I used 126gr of 50 BMG, with a 300gr Sierra, so starting in there would ok. FYI, I just treated the fireforming like normal, and shot the gun out to 2100 yards. Like you, I'd never do a snipetac again, 375, yes.
