I am starting a 338 edge project, I am asking which muzzle breaks are the most effective for this? I am a little recoil sensitive, but running 20 rounds thru a 338 edge without a break will be a little rough.

Anytime you ask "whats best", you will get very subjective and biased answers. The most effective brake is a suppressor, the SilencerCo Harvestor big bore will give maximum muzzle climb and recoil reduction since it is a hybrid suppressor/muzzle brake, very effective on large bore rifles. As far as brakes, I use Benchmark Barrels Muscle brakes on my 338LM and 338 Edge, they tame the recoil considerably. I also like the fact they use a clamp as well as threading, which means no timing and they can be removed easily. I did a short review of the brakes here; http://www.snipershide.com/shooting...hmark-barrels-muzzle-brake-reveiw**-pics.html
