338 Lapua Mag powder probs

HELP! I recently bought a used Remington 700 in 338 LM. But I couldn't find a load it liked. But I finally did. Unfortunately it was a factory load. Prvi Partizan 250gr BTHP. Sub M.O.A. groups great, but how do I duplicate it? I checked the website and also the Black Hills website because it did pretty good on that too. But they both claim the 250 grain rounds pushing 2950 fps. I have been checking every reloading book I can find and can't find a 250 grain load that will break 2900, so WTF? How are the manufacturers getting those speeds without exceeding pressures?

Do you guys have any inside information you would like to share? I would definately appreciate it.

a quick look at Lapua's loading chart shows a 250 Scenar at 2989fps with N570 (full case though!) with a 27.5" barrel. I have a Rem 700 338LM I am selling that had accurate loads for both 250 and 300 Scenars. I have to look up my loads there, but certainly I got well past 2900 fps with N560 and Retumbo.

Also, forget about measuring performance at 100 yards... do load development at 300 to 500 yards with the LM.
