Anybody had any luck with Retumbo? H1000 can't be found.

Yes, Retumbo is a great powder w/ 300g SMKs or Bergers. My load was 93.5g Retumbo w/ 300SMK.

I was using 90 grains of Retumbo. I have recently droped to 89.2 grains. Both H1000 and Retumbo have be available around here lately. I bought three 1 pounders of Retumbo today for $25.99 each. I seen 8 pounders of H1000 for $187.99 and one pounders for $26.99.

Have not tried retumbo yet, Hogdon shows max at 94grains thanks for the replies

My best accuracy was with Retumbo and 300 gr SMK.

I was getting good results with Retumbo and 250gr SMKs on a 338LM that I used to own.
