Has anyone worked up any loads with 250 or 300 scenars and VV 165? I was wondering how close they were to data.

This is for the 250s, either Scenars or SMKs, sorry for the confusion.
VV-165 is one of my three favorite powders for my Sako 338LM, the other two being H-4831sc and VV-170.
The only two manuals I have that use VV-165 for their load development are Sierra and Vihtavuori. They both use different weapons, so I don't worry too much about not matching their numbers.
VV's manual seems to be conservative and we all know Sierra's loads are generally ultra-conservative.
I pulled my notebook and with 87grs of VV-165 I was getting a 2799 fps with the Scenar and 2739 fps for the SMKs. In a few side by side tests, I've noted that the SMKs shoot a good 35-60 fps SLOWER than the Scenars. This is in the ballpark vis-a-vis the manuals.
I don't shoot out past 1k too much, so I don't really load my 338LM too hot, but I have.

250s, sorry. My Sako is one of the 1:12" twists.
