.338 Norma 28" Versus 30" barrell Speeds 300 SMK

Hi Folks,

my Smith is really keen on a 30" barrell for this but I think 28" will be plenty; how much speed with 300 SMK would I lose from going with the 28" over the 30" ?

I was under the impression with the norma that anything over 26 inches was a waste

I was getting 2820 from my 28" barrel and 300smk.
