Sorry I don't have an answer to your question but I do have a question for you. Why such a lite bullet in such a large caliber, I'm just curious.

it's actually some research I'm doing in relation to some horseshit in a TV show I saw. I'm well aware this is a really tiny bullet for .338LM. I would NEVER select such a short bullet.

may i ask why you wouldnt load them? cause i just piced up some barnes 185gr today and was wondering how they would shoot?

Too short- poor BC compared to heavier/longer bullets. I suppose if it were for hunting at medium ranges there may be a slight advantage...

Anyway, I don't run a .338LM. It was really just for some personal curiosity research.
