Gunsmithing 338LM Long Throat/Short Mag.....Solutions?

700P MLR shoots WAY better with bullets .010" off the lands but loaded ammo is too long to fit in magazine. I am willing to give up the detachable magazine arrangement if necessary (if no larger aftermarket exists) even if it means only 2 in a conventional magazine arrangement. I need the set up to hold cartridges that are 3.820" oal. This is about .050" longer than the detachable magazine will allow. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I was just looking at that mount. I LOVE it. Likely too tall for my application though. I wish it were made in a lower version.
