Building a 16” 358Win for a short handy box build deer gun. State requires over .35” bore.
what’s a good suppressor? Short Is good. It’s a hunting gun, so titanium works as well if the suppressor can handle it.

Not sure about ratings, but if it can handle it, the lightest, shortest, quietest, and most handy option would be the Otter Creek Labs Lithium 9. It's rated to handle some pretty heavy use, but would be best to contact @AndrewKing directly, and find out if it's ok for running on a 16" .358 Win.

Same as OP I’m on the hunt for a suppressor for a 20” or shorter 358 win. Preference is TBAC but open to others.
Your opinions welcome, what are you using?

How’d this project turn out? Looking to built a short 358win for close range deer.

I love it. It's a great lil package with nice knock down power. I've been very happy with the two kills it's had based on shot placement. I had my 7yr daughter using it last year, neither shot was great but it had a lot of energy transfer that knocked them down great. I put a Manners NS stock on it now, so it can easily go from adult to kids.

Are you reloading? What bullet and how fast? Which suppressor did you go with?

I built an AR 10 16" 358 Win with a Wilson Combat barrel.
They also have short, light, ti supressors available on their site.
Don't know about noise reduction or if they are any good, as mine is not suppressed, but one ya might look into, to see if it's right for you.

Yes, Lapua 308 brass LRP brass. 180 Speers over Varget. I don’t have my data with me but I think it’s around 2300. If you go this route I can dig up my load/data.

I have a Rex Silentium, 375 bore, I believe 5 baffles with brake. I wasn’t concerned with weight but wanted it short, it does a good job for its size/weight. Overall it makes a great gun for a bigger kid (60+ lbs I’d think) and a great short blind gun. I haven’t shot it any real distance but I’d be more than comfortable out to 200yds. As I’ve said, I think this combo blows the 350 legend out of the water with a slight recoil penalty.
