I am trying to learn, what are the benefits of hydroforming over spin forming or is it spin forming over hydroforming?

I mean if you googled both process' you'd pretty quickly learn they are completely different and can NOT be substituted for each other. There's even videos on the previous page.

Hydroforming would be used to move a shoulder ahead or blow out case taper in order to form a different cartridge.

Spin forming is spinning a cylinder and applying pressure with a roller in order to form a new shape. (eg form the neck and shoulder)
