I have decided to build a new extended long range rig, Decided on either the 375 or 408 Chey Tac, and have to ask, that 408's a pretty big bore, and a pretty long OAL so do I need one of the presses set up for 50BMG to load them? Also, can I get a set of hand dies like I use for 308 to fit the Chey Tacs?

I use a standard rock chucker press and C & H dies, just need to remove the bushing in the press to use the larger dies. I think C & H and RCBS make shell holders for the .408 now. I think the dies threads are 1 1/4 inch.

Do you have a RC supreme, I think it has more capacity than the originals? I have the RCII and holding a 338lm case in there it doesnt look like Id "easily" be able to get a bullet into the mouth to seat it. Planned on getting RCBS competition seater with the window to make it easier.
