there is a company,kinda "boutiqey" that makes supposedly the best 1911 mags. not mccormick or wilson or other well known brands. have had them and believe it but can't remember their name. long time with no 1911. it's a small outfit that i don't think advertises much. google failed me. anybody know?.

I carry a pistol for work and my Les Baer does not like the Wilson magazines. The Tripp magazines are my go to mag.

P.s. Get the 8R-45-RG's they're 8-round capacity and spring for the Alloy Basepad upgrade. Not only do they look awesome but most importantly they make the magazines a little heavier so they drop fast and easy. They're worth every penny and more.
