458 SOCOM at 1001 yards

In his defense, they don’t teach math anymore! ??

Did you just call me old in the most sureptitious way possible? I like it!

983,571,056 ÷ 1116 pretty basic.

Now common core taught them this:
50 + 6 ÷ 1000 + 570,000 + 1000 ÷ 1000 + 980,000,000 + 3,000,000 ÷ 1000 ÷ 100 ÷ 10 ÷ 6 +¢ - # ÷ © + 12mil(that's metric right?) ÷ inverse rotation of Jupiter ÷ #rings of Saturn ÷ .5 diameters of the sun =
Holy shit old man? How the hell did you figure all that out with such a simple formula.
In his defense I did not show my work because up yours Mrs. Ballinger, you old hag, I'm a grown assed man and don't have to show my work no more.

On a side note, it's clear to me why they had to dumb down the certification tests I took over 25 years ago. We had to memorize formulas. Now they provide them the formulas.
And I quote, "We needed to do something about the pass rate being below 20%"
?

The scope is kind of interesting.

Do you 300BO guys ever stretch it out that far? Providing of course you zero at 200.

Myself and a few friends are working on some long distance stuff with the 300 Blackout. Have a friend who is shooting some pretty respectable groups at 800 yards using the 300 Blackout.

I just built a bolt gun with a 32 7/8" barrel that is chambered in 300 Blackout. Going to try to get as much velocity as possible out of it.
