I've been asked and asked so here's the gritty thus far on this fluting: I did not test or shoot this thing. A long-time friend did who's pulls more triggers in a week than most do all year. The first 4 rounds out of the gun printed a 1/2 inch with factory Barnes Ammunition. It was then boxed up and shipped. No break-in, no farting around. Load, pew, Load, pew, Load, pew, Load, pew, and race back upstairs to the shipping dept.

That is pretty slick And in 7MM-08 which is the bestest for a hunting rig IMHO. Just wondering on the parts - model 700 action but what stock is that and barrel?? Must of shaved off a bunch of weight with that fluting??

Looks like a Manners Ultra Classic stock, and, given the weight I‘m guessing a titanium Rem action? LRI, did this stock start as a flattop like most of your work? Any problem opening the Ultra Classic up for the larger barrel contour? Thank you

Its a Remington it will never shoot and it will never sell for what was put into it.

On a serious side....

That stock has a very similar profile to the rifle build I am hoping LRI will do for me.

I spoke to Eric this week and sent over my proposal of what Im hoping to have built.

It will look much like that rifle - parkerized steel - but with walnut standard hunting stock - and LRI DBM.

Looks like the barrel on that rifle may be close to the 21 inch from bolt face finish length I want mine to be.
