Sidearms & Scatterguns .50AE Ammo

I have been looking for good ammo for my Desert Eagle .50AE and I think I found it. Horandy make a 300grain JHP XTP and it Rocks!

Any of you shoot any other factory loads out there that might be on the "Hot" side?

I have only shot Gold Dots. They've been good for 2 deer so far! DRT.

I've only shot the 325gr. gold dots. They are very accurate but don't seem to knock deer off their feet as good as a 260gr. out of my 454. I think I'll give the 300gr Hornady a try.

Are you saying there are actually "mellow" .50AE cartridges?

When these go off at the indoor range, even the "mild" reloads, the things boom!! Sorry, your line just made me laugh(a much needed one!)

Right now it seems like .50 AE is impossible to find in any loading...
