6.5 barrel cleaning or cleaining in general?

What are you using to clean 6.5 barrels? I usually just wrap a patch around a dewey/brownells jig. Works great for my .308 with a .270 jag. I have tried it with a 22-24 jag and end up having to tear patches so it it is not to tight in my 6.5. What size jag do you use and what size patch (for 6.5)? I have also seen guys wrap udersize nylon brushes with a patch for "better bore contact", anybody do that? Do you wrap or stab? I tried a 22 cal jag and its to loose? I usually push a wet patch thru then 3-5 dry then repeat till clean.

I use a .270 dewey nylon brush and wrap a patch around it.

Thanks for the help. I tried it on my grendel and seems to work better than a jag.
