6.5 PRC info

A good buddy of mine just got a GAP hunting rifle in 6.5 PRC caliber. He needs me to help him get set up with everything. I'm thinking Redding bushing dies but unsure what bushing to get yet and from what little I've read, it appears H1000 works well with this just like the SAUM.

Looking for suggestions on powder, bullets and where to start with load data for him. He just got it and hunting season is in a few weeks here so trying to get him set up quick. I was thinking something like the 130 berger VLD hunting?

For hunting, i recommend 127 LRX and Reloder 23 (for temperature stability). Seems to get really good ES/SD too. My 22" bbl setup will get ~3100fps (bbl sped up) with 53.5gr RL23. Pls start low and work your way up. BTW i'm stuck in CA so we have to use copper bullets.

5-shot groups
