Looking into picking up my own reamer.

Looking at .183 FB sammi reamer.

That sound about right? Also, ptg, Manson, jgs, other brand recommendation?

New to this part of rifles(buying my own reamer and such), so doing as much research as possible.

.183 is a little on the long side, but absolutely works. The rest of the dimensions for the saami reamer are good. Most here are gravitating towards Manson and JGS. Both companies offer a trouble free experience. Both are also happy to email prints for you to compare. If you can think it up, somebody has probably done it already, and they have the print. Both probably have the 6cm in stock. Also, if you do decide to go shorter on the FB, they will usually just regrind an in-stock reamer which saves you money(over a custom), and they will deliver those pretty quick too.

Ptg makes a nice reamer, but you roll the dice a bit when you use them. The CS is total shit.

I bought some Hornady Match with the 108 gr ELD-M bullet in preparation for a 6mm Creedmoor I'll have in the next 5 months. I attempted to measure the base of the cartridge to the ogive and came up with 2.125". I measured the ogive to be the bullet diameter of 0.2425".

Looking at the SAAMI chamber drawing, the beginning if the leade is 1.1247", (end of FB). So I would say this factory load is very suited to work in a SAMMI chamber reamer.

No one is saying that PTG reamers arent good. Its their cs thats sucks. I called them to see if they had a stock in stock. She said she would have to look and call me back. She didnt call me for three days, and then was pissed off and had an attitude because i went ahead and ordered from someone else when i didnt jear back from her after a couple days.
