I have more 6mm bullets than I really need, including some 115s I can't shoot out of my Dasher, and about 800 pieces of Hornady and Prime 6.5 Creedmoor brass that I don't use after buying Alpha brass, so I figure why not spend even more money and have a 6 Creed barrel spun for my Bighorn TL3. If I remember correctly, all I need to do is neck down the 6.5 brass to 6mm with a bushing in my Redding Type S FL 6.5 Creedmoor die, right? Once the brass is necked down, I can continue to resize my brass with the 6.5 Creedmoor dies I already have, as long as I leave the appropriate bushing in? Do I need a caliber specific seating die, or will the 6.5 seating die work fine? Thanks in advance, all!
Edit: Just to be clear, I have 6.5 Creedmoor brass and 6.5 Creedmoor dies. I want to make sure all I have to do make 6 Creedmoor brass is neck down my 6.5 Creedmoor brass by dropping in a bushing and can I continue to resize the 6 Creedmoor brass using my 6.5 Creedmoor die as long as I have the bushing in. I also want to know if my 6.5 Creedmoor seating die will work with 6mm bullets, or am I better off buying a 6 Creed seating die
