Wanted to ask about proper gassing I have

- Craddock RTR 18” Rifle gas
- Port size .083ish
- A5/H2 Sprinco Green
- Lahar 30k (sometimes)
- milspec BCG/ Grendel Hunter bolt

I’m fine with no can usage, but I don’t want to kill my system due to over gassing. Google doesn’t have much either on gassing like 5.56 does

Does your rifle need adjustments? I wouldn’t go into it with that assumption. My Craddocks have never been gassed heavily. I dunno how much variance they have across cartridges or barrel lengths but mine have only needed (“needed”) a heavier buffer and blue spring.

Mine runs fine suppressed and unsuppressed. Standard carbine spring with an H buffer. Non adjustable low profile gas block. Can is a SF Socom mini 2 7.62.

Most 18” rifle gas 556 and 6.5 Grendel barrels I’ve dealt with have been pretty forgiving. I’ve yet to need heavy buffers, springs, or adj. gas blocks or carriers
