6MM AR barrel length

I am finally getting to do my AR build. I am going with 6mm AR caliber. So my question is what barrel length would I want. The rifle will be used for long range precision tactical match. Range will be 100-800 yards. Oh, also what twist rate? Will probably be using 105 or 107 grain bullets. Or recommend what weight bullet I should use.

I am using a 22 inch 8 twist in my 6mmAR. I like the 105s and 95s.

Just got mine last week. Shes 26" 8twist. Im not goin be shooting anything beyond 105 grain so 8twist is good. 26" for me coz oneday when i get better as HP shooter ill turn this to HP match rifle thats why its 26" with taper muzzle for iron sight..robert offer 7.5 and 8 twist i think youll be fibe with 8twist.at that distance proly 20" minimum..

I have a 24" 1-8 twist, it loves the 105SMK with R15, shoots great to 1000.

Im guessing its 107smk? Is your barrel krieger or bartlein

22" or 24" and 1:8 twist will do nicely for you. You pick whether you'd rather have a little extra velocity or a little extra portability and maybe better balance.

yes, 107 SMK or 105 scenars, same charge at mag length no dif in accuracy, barrel brand is Benchmark as big as an AR can take it.
