Re: 6mm remington
Well there ya' go, brass snobs; Norma has you covered even for 6 Rem, if he's right.
You know. I've done quite a bit of shooting, I think, and I don't believe I've ever worn out a case whether is was Lapua, Lake City, or Winchester. Perhaps I'm not shooting full auto?
Say you buy two hundred cases of "Simpson tuff-ass brass" cases. Load them with safe charges 5 times. That would mean you fire your rifle 1000 times. A few of my shooting friends shoot 1000 rounds in a year. One shoots that many in 6 months. One shoots that much in 3 months. They are both voracious competitors and can afford Lapua but they probably throw even them away after 5 firings. Winchester, Nosler, Norma.........even Remington isn't awful if its sorted and preped properly.
Lapua IS fine brass. No better than most folks shoot..... The Lapua brass horse is dead. Stop beating this poor, dead, rotten horse. It even has vultures on it. The hyenas are gone.
