6x47 and Varget

36 grains got me 3075.. I’d start around 35 and go up from there

Do you find you like and have the case fill as you would using
H4350 or RL16? I would think the Varget would burn the throat out faster also.
Just asking cause I have a 6x47 barrel coming in a couple weeks.

I actually run 4166 in mine.

38.0 grains of H4350 works nicely...........

Bartlein 26”, tbac 7. 35.4 varget gave 3062 with a 105 hybrid. 39.5 RL16 with a 105 RDF is 3074. Both had ES/SD’s around 10-15/6-8ish. Groups in the .3’s consistently. I ran both bullet/powder combos up to 3170’s area before pressure was hit.

It was weird how consistent both loads are in comparison with each other, in terms of performance.
