Looking for suggestions for a good action wrench for my Lone Peak action. I was told any wrench for a 700 would work. I recall seeing a brand that was highly recommend previously but my Google searches aren't coming up with much for results.

Lol. I just put a thread up asking before seeing this. A couple wrenches I’ve tried haven’t work for my lone peak.
I did send Lone Peak an email last week and Mike responded back saying the would have some themselves in about a month. He also said any R700 wrench would work but gave no suggestions on specific brands.
Don't know about Lone Peak but my old Darrell Holland wrench has worked great on many R700s.

So, good news. My SAC modular wrench does work.
On the loan peak, you have to make sure the hex shaped plastic end cap is aligned correctly. The flat spots have to be aligned so there is a flat on the top and bottom.
Was just messing with it, figured it out and was able to remove the action no problem.

I'm almost certain this is the one I had seen reference of before and was looking for.
Have you tried the Defiance? Should work on any 2-lug .700".
I like the internal wrenches better than the external.
